Full-Time Positions

The Financial Aid Advisor, under the direction of the Financial Aid Senior Financial Aid Manager, provides financial aid services to potential students. The Financial Aid Advisor will conduct student need analysis, perform federal verifications and packaging of student aid, certify federal loan eligibility, provide financial aid counseling, make professional judgment decisions regarding student aid eligibility and facilitate problem solving with students and parents. Incumbents in this job classification will interact with specific outside agencies to facilitate the student eligibility process and he/she is accountable for ensuring compliance with federal regulations.

Encourages prospective students to use higher education to prepare for professional success. Matching abilities and interests of the applicant with a career education program offered by the College, the advisor offers support, guidance and accountability throughout the enrollment process including: legal and regulatory disclosures, telephone inquiries, student tours, develops leads, and offers respect and sensitivity for cultural differences; promoting a harassment-free environment.

Works between education department and financial aid department managing student financial records as they pertain to enrollment status and financial aid availability.

The Director of Admissions provides leadership and direction for the operations and activities of the College-wide functions and programs of Admissions. The Director of Admissions is responsible for the admissions programs of the college, including maintaining compliance with state regulations and local policies and recommending revisions as appropriate. The Director of Admissions directs all procedures relating to the admission of students; develops and implements processes that support the Admissions office; consults with and advises administration.

The Career Services Advisor position is instrumental in the execution and delivery of services offered by the Career Services Department. Through student/ graduate job search coaching and employer development/ qualified job lead generation it is the responsibility of the Advisor to place graduates in career objective employment.

ACC is looking for an energetic, motivated individual that is looking to begin a long-term career in Information Technology. Our IT department is responsible for software and hardware troubleshooting, which is all handled in-house. Experience is not needed in this position, as we will invest time into training you for the responsibilities of the position. A strong base knowledge of computing systems and good attitude are the skills that will get you started on your way to success. This is an entry-level position with room to grow. Answering calls from the clients, creating tickets, working to solve the issue and escalating, when appropriate are all part of the daily duties. It is a perfect role for someone just out of school and looking for their first opportunity or someone who has switched careers and is getting into the IT world.
